Freya Collection is a minimalist furniture series created by Brooklyn-based studio Peg Woodworking. Craftsmanship shows itself strong in the work of Peg Woodworking founder Kate Casey. In her Freya Collection, modern simplicity of line and form is contrasted by traditional woven pattern. This is where era and ideas embrace. Where form follows function follows beauty. The physical manifestation of pure inspiration, pure iconography and ideology. This is lyricism in space, utilitarian sculpture. If ever there was furniture that exemplifies physical poetry, the Freya Collection would be it. Perfect in rhythm and repeated rhyme, subtle in exclamation.
