Gofi Chair is a minimalist chair designed by Barcelona-based studio Goula / Figuera Studio. The Gofi chair is drawn in a fast stroke: straight lines, a circle and a rectangle; an apparently simple design that revisits the traditional chairs with a tubular steel structure. The joint between the backrest and the tube, commonly made using rivets or screws, in this case is almost made in a magical way, thanks to a invisible structure hidden inside the backrest. Thus, the focus of interest of this design relays on its back side, the side of a chair we see the most when it’s placed next to a table. The Gofi chair is available in many finishes: black lacquered beech wood or matte varnished oak. Both options are also available with an upholstered seat.
