Isola is a minimal side table designed by Milan-based studio CARA \ DAVIDE. Characterized by disproportionate and intersecting volumes, Isola recalls an intimate and primitive nature.⁠ The designers worked closely with Portego on some new projects. The designers prioritize the dialogues and details that one can only find when you meet an artisan or visit a factory but that was not possible for the better part of this year. Undoubtedly, this affected the design process and in many ways, Isola was shaped through the unusualness, the limits and intricacies of this time.
