Nomadic Shelves is a minimalist design created by Spain-based designer Jorge Penadés. The Nomadic Shelves is the latest addition to the Nomadic Collection, a series of furniture pieces which are based on a detachable structure without any kind of screws, nails, or glue. This simple yet returnable system works through connections inspired by traditional wooden joinery that can be easily assembled and disassembled by hand, in a short period of time. The core of the system lies in the simplicity of it construction. Instead of glue, a simple metal connector is used to hold the wooden slats together providing enough strength and stability to create a wide range of pieces.
