Round Chair is a minimalist chair created by Seoul-based designer Jeong Ho Ko. In a busy modern society, it is not uncommon for weeks to pass in a blur. In contrast to this social phenomena, a new objective was proposed: fast to slow, alone to together, complex to simple. By using these elements, Round chair shares warm and calm sensibilities with the people and its surrounding space. Round corners convey the sense of comfort, but a few sharp edges around the seat keep the shape from becoming too dull. The simple figure and the material of the chair form a calm ambience, allowing the user to enjoy the surrounding environment.
