The Berlin based furniture design studio Objekte Unserer Tage, has recently unveiled their latest creation, the SANDER Sofa. Designed by David Wendt, the Head of Design, the SANDER Sofa combines innovative design with a touch of postmodernism, resulting in a visually distinctive and expressive piece of furniture. Inspired by art movements of the 70s and 80s, this furniture piece evokes a sense of softness and playfulness reminiscent of clouds and marshmallows. As Wendt explains, “With the design language of the SANDER, I want to enable people to find their own interpretation, making the design a very personal experience that meets the needs of modern living.”

The SANDER Sofa is crafted with a keen focus on quality and longevity. Its upholstery, utilizing the latest generation materials, ensures a remarkable level of comfort and durability. The covers are hand-sewn, guaranteeing both durability and ease of maintenance. This approach aligns seamlessly with the studio’s design philosophy. Every object is produced in Germany with a strong commitment to sustainability, from the initial design to the final touches. Wendt has created a symbolic language that evokes associative images while maintaining a sense of modernity. Its unique aesthetic offers a blend of timeless appeal and contemporary flair, making it a fitting addition to modern living spaces.
