Split is a minimal marble collection created by Tokyo-based designer Nendo for Marsotto Edizioni. “Half dining table” or a “half low table” designed for “Marsotto Edizioni” an Italian brand specializing in marble furniture. When placed alongside the wall the “half table” becomes a console table, and when two “half tables” are combined they turn into a normal table. Moreover, by inserting a XXXXmm width table as a spacer, the piece can be used as a long table. The length can be extended for as long as one likes by adding additional spacers. The tabletop comes in two types – a half circular and square – and with a unified width of XXXXmm with 3 variations of colors, white, black and grey that can be freely combined to lend a variety of styles.
