Stool is a minimalist furniture piece by the São Paulo-based artist and designer, Rafael Triboli. Part of his new collection of furniture and objects that synthesizes his deep engagement with materiality and craftsmanship, Stool explores the concept of “material frankness”, presenting each element of the piece in a raw, honest state.

Crafted in smooth mahogany, its rich, warm tones are enhanced by a natural Brazilian Carnauba Wax finish. Stool’s seat incorporates inset bronze pieces that are irregularly shaped and retain their raw texture, creating a striking contrast between rugged and refined surfaces. Its legs are characterized by subtle, twig-like asymmetries, lending to the piece’s organic and imperfect elegance.
