The Hearth is a minimal electric fireplace created by San Francisco-based studio Industrial Craft. Inspired by one of the oldest rituals in human history, the Hearth re-imagines the experience of cuddling up around a fire to be more accessible for the largest and fastest growing population in the world: urban dwellers. To turn on and turn up the heat, simply turn the tabletop clockwise like a large dial. The rotating tabletop mechanically opens up the fins which gradually exposes more of the glowing core as the temperature is increased.
