VEEN is a series of seating created by Rotterdam-based designer Jonas Lutz. The VEEN seats were designed in 2022 and initially produced in a small edition for the Huidenclub, an art and design space in Rotterdam. The design was made specifically for the use of pine wood as the construction material in order to keep the production cost low and with sustainability in mind. With this design, the studio wanted to express a feeling of strength and simplicity that compliments the surrounding architecture in the Huidenclub and gives the collection a bold look. The collection is currently for sale directly through the designer.
