A House is a minimal home located in Stockholm, Sweden, designed by studio näv. Intended for a young couple, this dwelling presents a layout that emphasizes both functionality and connection with the environment. The house is situated on a small island, allowing for a sense of seclusion while still fostering a strong relationship with the natural surroundings. The design of the residence is centered on a singular room, a decision that not only utilizes the space effectively but also enhances the flexibility between the interior and exterior of the home. One of the standout features of this project is the ability to fully open the two gable ends. This design choice transforms the house, extending it into the landscape and effectively blurring the lines between inside and outside.
