Apartment Alan is a minimalist house located in Barcelona, Spain, designed by FORMA. The main objective was to achieve the maximum use of natural light within the apartment. The architects simplified the distribution to obtain large and opened spaces that multiplied light. The outcome was a linear succession of three large spaces of different proportions associated with the structure of load-bearing walls. Each space had a specific use with its own identity, and the openings between them allowed for greater freedom.
