Apartment H Transformation is a minimalist residence located in Madrid, Spain, designed by Wespi de Meuron and ABATON Arquitectura. The renovation removed the original Herringbone-pattern floors, and replaced with concrete and vertical wood flooring. The stripped down aesthetic amplifies some of the original structure’s details, including the skylight and Baroque ceiling. The upper level features an ornate set of geometries that entangle to form the gabled roof above.
