Capitão Leitão is a minimal interior located in Lisbon, Portugal, designed by Arriba. The apartment, located on the top floor of a building of the early twentieth century, was characterized by excessive compartmentation and consequent wastage of the internal area, generating small spaces of poor quality that were in poor condition. Based on the existing housing organization, we sought to maximize the use of the internal areas, eliminating corridors, reducing compartmentalization and taking advantage of uninhabited space.
