Casa ACLL48 is a minimalist home located in Valencia, Spain, designed by Club Studio. This reimagined design departs from the conventional division of day and night zones separated by a corridor. The redesign strategically places private spaces such as bedrooms towards the interior courtyard, while the communal areas enjoy a direct connection to the outdoors. This arrangement not only enhances the flow within the apartment but also optimizes the penetration of natural light, enabling complete lighting management throughout the home. The interior layout is thoughtfully planned, featuring two bedrooms, one of which is a suite, a guest bathroom, and a combined living, dining, and kitchen space that opens onto the terrace. The kitchen stands out as the centerpiece, boasting a custom island that spans 4.8 meters and incorporates movable panels.

These panels can conceal or reveal the kitchen area, adapting to different occasions and preferences for a minimalist look or an open, interactive environment. This design choice effectively utilizes space and supports flexibility in the apartment’s configuration. Material selection plays a crucial role in creating the penthouse’s timeless appeal. Microcement forms a neutral backdrop that highlights the warmth of cherry wood and the lively Glencoe green of the kitchen island. Cream-colored tiles measuring 10x10cm add texture and depth, harmonizing with the overall material and color scheme. The introduction of venetian blinds offers a practical means of controlling light and heat, especially suited to the Mediterranean climate, enhancing comfort and energy efficiency. The extension of microcement to outdoor areas fosters a visual and functional continuity between the interior and exterior, emphasizing the fluidity of the living space. Despite its minimalist aesthetic, the project demands precise craftsmanship in interior carpentry to meet aesthetic standards and ensure functionality and seamless integration with the architectural design.
