Cowpea Room is a minimalist house located in Yokohama, Japan, designed by Roovice. This project is a renovation of a small rental property in an apartment complex. The architects realized that there was approximately 80cm of additional unused space between the floor and foundation, and decided to expand on this to provide additional ceiling height. A mobile storage cabinet is situated in the center of the living space to function as room separator if needed.
