Dom Vasco is a minimalist space located in Sines, Portugal, designed by Arriba. The space is characterized by a custom central staircase constructed of wood, which consists of modular internal compartments, maximizing storage for the residents. The upper level features a gabled roof with exposed beams with access to the rooftop deck overlooking the cityscape and sea. The bedroom is outfitted with a small skylight in the corner to allow natural light to enter the space. A built-in custom bookshelf and desk further maximizes the space while providing the residents with a workstation.
