GIGI STUDIOS HQ is a minimalist space located in Barcelona, Spain, designed by Isern Serra. The new headquarters project reimagines traditional workspace design, merging concepts of home (Domus) and museum to emphasize simplicity and intrinsic value. This approach creates a serene, warm, and elegant environment that reflects the brand’s ethos while maintaining functionality. The design strategy focuses on fostering an unconventional workspace that encourages creativity and comfort. Located in Sant Cugat del Vallès, the headquarters occupies a 900 square meter space within a building that facilitates an open, O-shaped layout. The architectural plan cleverly maximizes open space, placing communal areas like the kitchen and showroom on one end, and offices and meeting rooms on the other.

This layout benefits from natural sunlight, enhancing the ambiance of each space and promoting a dynamic and fluid work environment. The interior design emphasizes creativity and customization, treating each furniture piece and space as unique artworks. A notable feature is the central storage system, adorned with circular stainless steel niches for displaying prototype books and materials. The design philosophy extends to communal areas, where sculptural elements serve various purposes, from seating to brainstorming spaces. Two distinct entrances lead to welcoming areas that set the tone for innovation and surprise.

The design area, defined by custom-made furniture and strategically placed lighting, underscores GIGI STUDIOS’ commitment to bespoke design and the integration of craftsmanship and tradition into its spaces. The showroom stands out as a testament to minimalist design, prioritizing product display through sculptural tables and strategic lighting. This space, alongside the kitchen, embodies a domestic and Mediterranean ethos, intended to facilitate interaction and relaxation. The office areas and meeting rooms combine practicality with personalized design elements, ensuring comfort and promoting a conducive work atmosphere.
