Heoyuwon is a minimal space located in Seoul, South Korea, designed by Practice. The artist’s atelier needs a language of practical form. This language stems from personal things like her taste and the piece’s use. A table should be portable in form and weight, while shelves should be easy to arrange and divide sections for materials of different sizes. The forms generated from a natural background makes the artist’s work stand out. These ideas and practices naturally became the initial point for aesthetical thinking.
