Home Base is a minimal residence located in Tottori, Japan, designed by Plus Casa. The clients wanted the home to have an intimate relationship with its surroundings, thus utilizing the water from the nearby riverbank, as well as implementation of a wood-burning stove for the winters. High-ceilings allow for a portion of the space to be lofted, which the clients will use as storage space and a gym.
