JD House is a minimalist residence located in China, designed by paper water design. In this residential project, the design team sought to achieve a harmonious balance between family life, spatial experience, and visual appeal. The approach prioritizes a subtle material palette and rustic elements, aiming to elevate everyday living through thoughtful design rather than opulence. The design emphasizes that quality of life is not defined by extravagant items or bold forms but by the creation of a distinctive atmosphere through carefully curated materials. The use of natural stone, solid wood, and artistic finishes lends the space a serene and organic quality. Natural light interacts with the warm wood veneer, enhancing the sense of openness and fluidity. The concept of harmony in the design is seen as dynamic, evolving in response to how occupants engage with the space.
