Jhouse is a minimal apartment located in Tokyo, Japan, designed by YLANG YLANG. The architect used music as a reference, programming the spaces as melodies and vertical space a chord progression. Oak herringbone wood was used for the floor while rhythmic tiles and grey walls become emblematic to the passage of time. Glass partitions create depth and separation without compromise to visual access and natural light.
