K.01 Collection is a minimalist kitchen design created by Milan-based studio GiacomoMoor. One of the key features of this collection is the innovative handle design. The mechanism is ingeniously crafted from a thin metal sheet, folded in two separate directions at a precise angle. This cleverly conceived design is then inserted, like a clip, into a milling of identical geometry within the door. This results in a handle design that not only preserves the original appearance from potential wear and tear but also allows for aesthetic flexibility. The array of finish options—ranging from powder coating to galvanic treatments in brass, lead, or copper, and even satin finish or brushed stainless steel—introduces a multitude of combinations to pair with different door materials.
This level of customization helps to ensure that the K.01 Collection can adapt to varying stylistic requirements of different homes and spaces. Further expanding on this element of adaptability, the handle can be utilized in its entirety or divided into two sections, positioned 20 cm below the top. This feature enables the opening of full-height front panels or double drawers, effectively addressing a variety of storage needs. Taking a look inside, these kitchens do not compromise on durability or ease of maintenance. The interiors are crafted from poplar plywood and layered with Abet laminate, a combination that guarantees exceptional strength while simplifying the cleaning process.
