Ka-House is a minimalist residence located in Aichi, Japan, designed by LIC · Yamamoto Architects. The home has a number of unique characteristics including an interior courtyard, a beam support for a hammock, and a small rock climbing wall. The interior courtyard is open from two sides of the living space, both of which include sliding glazed doors. A portion of the ceiling is constructed of wood, providing a more natural and warm atmosphere for the residents.
