Modest is a minimal apartment renovation located in Vilnius, Lithuania, designed by YCL. The apartment focused on modesty over opulence. The project attends the owner’s daily needs and allows for social spaces created for different mood and occasions. The first floor consists of a main family space, kitchen, bedroom, home office, small bathroom and utility room. The second floor is dedicated strictly to the main residents of the house with a roomy bathroom, bedroom and terrace which offers a great view of the Žvėrynas panorama. In the beginning, the main bedroom had to be on the first floor, but after a design revision and new proposal for the second floor, the clients chose to create their own oasis on the second floor.
