Monceau is a minimalist interior located in Paris, France, designed by Hélène Van Marcke. The designer believes in a perfectly proportioned perspective with contrast between light and shadow. She is inspired by the archetypes of design that surround people and bring them into a contemporary world. Every object should be thrilling to touch, use and look at. Things should be pure, timeless and warm. Monceau features a space that mixes industrial materials with natural accents. The space features a wrought iron staircase and partition that separates the kitchen from the main living and dining area. The upper levels reveal skylights allowing abundant natural light to flow into the space without compromise to privacy.
