Pure Residence is a minimalist home located in Anhui, China, designed by COCC Design. In this project, a compact duplex located on the top floor has been designed with a minimalist aesthetic that reflects the owner’s personal preferences. The ground floor features an open-plan layout, seamlessly connecting the living room, dining area, kitchen, bar, and a versatile space. This cohesive approach allows for flexible use, catering to both everyday living and social gatherings. Subtle variations in materials and partitioning distinguish the different functional zones without disrupting the visual continuity. The upper level is dedicated to a spacious master bedroom suite, ensuring privacy and tranquility. The design palette is restrained, focusing on neutral tones without the use of vibrant colors or striking patterns. The enduring appeal of white dominates the space, complemented by a careful balance of black and white elements. To enhance the ambiance, furniture and textiles in walnut and linen are incorporated, adding warmth and texture to the otherwise understated interior.
