Reform in Vigo is a minimalist renovation located in Vigo, Spain, designed by Ansede Quintáns Arquitectos. The architects were charged in renovating a building built in the 60s, which at the time was left in a ruinous state. The designers were interested in conserving the environment, and wanted to maintain as many of the original elements as possible. However, since the apartment had gone through multiple renovations, it was difficult to uncover all of these details. Partitions that were not needed in the new distribution were kept only as the skeleton. The structures that traverse the space without actually dividing it helped to create different visual environments.
