Roma Garden is a minimalist apartment located in Guangzhou, China, designed by Vicky. The primary allure for purchasing this property was its view of a bridge, encapsulating the urban, maritime, and architectural essence they grew fond in their days overseas. The apartment’s balcony offers unobstructed views of three iconic Guangzhou structures on one side, and on the other, it faces the sea, complemented by a striking red bridge—a view so compelling that the couple was willing to pay a premium. A key aspect of the design philosophy was to preserve the original marble flooring that extends from the foyer through the dining room to the living area. This decision underscores a commitment to sustainability, blending the old with the new within a contemporary living space. The design intent was not only to introduce a modern lifestyle and aesthetic but also to seamlessly integrate elements from different eras, creating a harmonious blend of past and present beauty.
