Saintonge is a minimalist renovation located in Paris, France, designed by studiokokumi in collaboration with Core Architectures. The project is a transformation of an artist’s 25sqm studio. The architects chose to utilize the extra height from under the ceiling to create a mezzanine which encompasses the bedroom. The structure of the mezzanine consists mainly of brushed metal. The perception of space is enhanced through the use of mirrors on both the walls and ceilings.
