Sesquez Loft is a minimal apartment located in Asnières-sur-Seine, France, designed by Heju Studio. Upon entry, the expansive open area immediately grabs attention, with each space gracefully flowing into the next. The entrance is smartly partitioned by rounded, custom furniture pieces that seamlessly connect to the dining kitchen. The bespoke kitchen island reflects the same sage green shade as the furniture, capped by a Quartz worktop imitating Calacatta marble. Further in, the dining area is enhanced by an elegant concrete arch hosting a bioethanol fireplace positioned on a terracotta base. It acts as a prelude to the capacious living room, illuminated by soft light seeping through an expansive glass ceiling.

An organic, masonry bench tastefully occupies the room, amplifying its spatial fluidity. Serving as the focal point, a pristine white staircase escorts visitors to an intimate office area on the upper level, bathed in natural light. The lower level sleeping quarters are accessed via a light timber staircase, flanked by a textured white wall. The two initial bedrooms evoke a sense of warm comfort. Both feature carpet flooring and openings that allow light to spill in from the floor above. The children’s room offers playful storage and vibrant wallpaper, while the second room serves as a welcoming guest space. A shared bathroom, completely clad in pink mosaics, provides a bold contrast to the terrazzo washbasin.
