SUNA is a minimalist space located in Helsinki, Finland, designed by Anastasiia Korpaleva. The design emphasizes a high vaulted ceiling, creating an open and airy atmosphere despite the cafe’s compact size. Upon entering, visitors will find a long seating area on the left, accommodating six people. This side also includes a small retail corner, providing a space for merchandise or takeaway items. The right side of the hall features a striking blue-tiled bar counter, illuminated by a custom-made linear lamp, adding a touch of modern elegance to the space. A separate table nearby is perfect for small gatherings of up to four guests. The functional aspects are seamlessly integrated into the design. A sink and toilet room are cleverly hidden behind a curtain made of clear polycarbonate chains, ensuring utility without compromising the aesthetic appeal.
