Towpath Shop is a minimal showroom located in Seoul, South Korea, designed by STUDIO GIMGEOSIL. With a focus on scenery, the path along the store runs adjacent a canal. In order to bring attention to the idyllic surroundings, transparent and mirrored materials were used throughout. Large glazings frame the greenery, reflected amongst the open structure creating flow and consistency within the space. In addition, an oak sliding door is installed behind the counter to neutralize the heaviness of the stainless steel and exposed concrete.
