Villa Cap Roig is a minimal home located in Calella de Palafrugell, Spain, designed by BLOOMINT. Light is the focal point of the renovation. Large bay windows and cleverly placed skylights flood the renovated spaces with natural light. Interior bay windows offer breathtaking views of the Gavarres massif, seamlessly blending the indoors with the outdoors. The interior features a simple yet elegant color palette. Immaculate white walls create a sense of space and brightness, while natural tones complement them, creating a balanced and serene atmosphere. Black accents in doors, fittings, and window frames add sophistication and modernity, while natural materials like raw wood, stone, and linen provide warmth and texture. The villa’s layout has been redesigned to comfortably accommodate up to 12 people, emphasizing spacious common areas for socializing.

The kitchen combines modern aesthetics with a Mediterranean touch, featuring custom microcement surfaces and rustic oak cabinets. The living room is a haven of comfort with white-painted wooden ceilings and bespoke furnishings, including a monumental shelf displaying curated local artisanal decorative objects. Villa Cap Roig offers five bedroom suites, each with painted raw pine cupboards and elegant black fittings in microcement-covered bathrooms. A playful dormitory space caters to the youngest family members. Outside, the villa’s terraces, adorned with pergolas, invite residents to enjoy the Mediterranean climate. A panoramic terrace provides breathtaking views of the Gavarres, while the garden, dotted with majestic olive trees, creates a tranquil atmosphere. A spacious swimming pool completes the outdoor setting.
