Villa Toivonen is a minimal architecture project located in Norrtälje, Sweden, designed by Arrhov Frick. Working with a diversity of projects, the ambition is to create architecture that makes life better for the people. A building should be pleasant to live in and to discover. The architecture is often reduced to its fundamentals, emphasizing ideological and programmatic simplicity through a focus on function, structural economy and construction logic. This particular project features a series of vertical wooden slats that align with the flooring. A terrace opens up the space to the outdoors, allowing additional light and air to flow through the space.
