Will.B is a minimal space located in Seoul, South Korea, designed by ARTEFACT. Concrete buildings are in a sense natural, so it was planned by the architects to reveal the charm of the building and restore the context of when it was built. First, the studio broke down the boundary between the inside and outside. After revealing the building’s original finish, they applied the same material to the inside. The intention was to make the entire building perceived as a single mass rather than to emphasize a specific space. It opened the visual field, and accentuates the existing building’s intention and appearance. The terrace, finished with concrete, blurs the boundary with the street. The studio used colors only as an accent element at the dessert area.
