Xavier Hufkens Gallery is a minimal gallery space located in Brussels, Belgium, designed by Robbrecht en Daem architecten. Opening of St-Georges, the new flagship Xavier Hufkens gallery expansion. With triple the exhibition space, the expansion of the St-Georges site is designed by Robbrecht & Daem architects. Driven by the architects’ guiding principles: scale, light and proportion, each floor has unique dimensions and light incidence, offering visitors a range of spatial experiences. The opening features a large-scale exhibition by Christopher Wool (b. 1955). Curated by Anne Pontégnie, this comprehensive presentation will span four floors of the new building. The exhibition will focus on recent developments in Wool’s practice and the processes of reproduction employed by the artist across media.
