Ohm is a minimal light collection designed by Sweden-based studio Kauppi & Kauppi for Ifö Electric. Ohm is a porcelain luminaire collection for all situations and living spaces – indoors as well as outdoors. Inspired by older times porcelain insulators, the design celebrates the material and the century long heritage of Scandinavia’s only wet press porcelain producer. Since the launch in 2019, the Ohm collection has received broad global recognition. Most recently the collection won the prestigious Swedish Design Awards 2020, managed by Svensk Form (the Swedish Society of Crafts and Design) where the collection was honored because of its timeless expression and exceptional longevity. Neither wind, water nor strong sunlight will change the glazed porcelain surface.
