Rota is a minimalist light created by London-based designers Minimalux. Rota is a table or floor lamp made from aluminum discs, frosted acrylic rings, and precision machined brass rods. The light is finished with powder-coated white RAL 9003 with a two meter long cable with an inline dimmer. The light is available in a UK, Euro, or JP/US plug. Each product is conceived and developed by Minimalux and its collaborators from a studio buried deep underground in the heart of East London. Within this laboratory-like environment, the principals of formal reduction are pushed to the extreme whilst material, process, and finishing considerations are specified at the highest level.
