Bender is a minimalist bottle opener created by Berlin-based designer Hayo Gebauer. Certain topics like orderliness, geometry or the connection of seemingly unrelated references are among the shape defining details of the household objects and furniture. Bender bends things, preferably bottle caps. Its hexagonal profile gives it a tool like appearance which coincides with effortless lifting from flat surfaces.
