Espelma is a minimalist light created by Switzerland-based designer Raphael Kadid. Espelma is a table lamp made of a single cnc brass element and a mirrored light bulb. The idea of the lamp is to create a minimum body while emphasizing the weigth properties of massive brass to provide stability. With a height of only 95mm, the lamp weights 700gr. Like a handle, the design follows the fit of the hand, to be used very frequently and placed on any support, where the smallest space is available. The lamp is called espelma, contemporary interpretation of the candle, only made possible with the recent introduction of non-heating led light bulbs.
