RUNWAY is a minimalist pendant light created by Paris-based designers SCMP Design Office. RUNWAY is a light tribute to the origin of industrial design. Composed by four aluminum head with LED panel and ABS parts, this pendant light is at the same time inspired by airport lighting present on the runway and has the same use of an old chandelier. Equipped with slip-ring, each head can be turn to bring the light where you want. The color is a strong reference to the “bleue”, the Motobécane AV88, a famous motorcycle icon. Especially for the exhibition, the diffusing plate are using dichroic film.
