Wooden Iron is a minimalist design created by Sweden-based designer The Tomorrow Collective. Ironing clothes is a tedious household chore a lot of people are trying to avoid. However, there are occasions in life, when you are supposed to wear a wrinkle free clothing. Owning an electric device only to iron your shirt twice a year seems like a waste of resources and energy. The wooden iron is inspired by an ancient tool – mangle board, and it smooths garments using simple wooden tools and a little bit of hand pressure in several minutes.
