House in Higashi-hirano is a minimalist residence located in Osaka, Japan, designed by seki.design. The building is characterized by deep eaves that hang over a series of wooden lattices. The lattices serve as a semi-transparent partition between the interior courtyard and outside garden. The gabled roof is outfitted with wooden panels on the interior that compliment the rest of the space, which also consists mainly of wood.
