.8 House is a minimalist residence located in Kanagawa, Japan, designed by TENHACHI. The renovation sought to maintain as much of the original structure as possible. As a result, a stripped down raw and industrial aesthetic is juxtaposed against clean and contemporary materials and appliances. A tight loft space was constructed above the bedroom, serving as a playroom for children, and eventually transitioning as a storage space.
