clinique D diaphane is a minimalist space located in Quebec, Canada, designed by L. McComber. Although there are large windows facing the East, the original space was relatively dark and dull. The architects decided to utilize the natural light by creating an open space. Six examination rooms form a long, white wall punctuated by tall wooden doors mixed with frosted glass ceilings. With its large glazed wall and lowered ceilings, the relaxation room that borders the entrance and waiting room appears as a light box.
