Picture is a minimal flower vase created by Tokyo-based designer Shinya Oguchi. Picture is a very simple flower vase. The designer wanted to show the entire life of a flower clearly, from a bud to end. As such, the designer wanted to combine a flower vase with a picture frame into one product. The fresh flower or plant transforms into an art piece in and of itself. Two pieces were attached at just one point. The bottom thickness is thicker than the other parts to stabilize the vase.
