Tellus is a collection of unique pieces created by New Zealand-based designer Paul Brissonnet in collaboration with Charlotte Jankowski. Tellus was born from the meeting of the two-thousand-year-old materials, stone, and soil. Over time the materials have come together to form one. Earth unites and supports as it can the stone, an unshakeable memory of time. Thanks to this fusion, materials coexist to make these hybrid objects appear. A quest which, far from being content with meeting objects, would endeavor to unite the manifestations of the elementary forces which mix and entwine nature. A balance of power is engaged in these three pieces. Each action, each interaction leads to a reconciliation between the subjects, even if it is imperceptible. Each piece is unique in its shape and texture. Made of Pierre de St Leu and stoneware.
