Tsumiki is a minimalist design created by Tokyo-based designers Kengo Kuma and Associates. Each of the triangular pieces are constructed of Japanese cedar from the forests of Miyazaki Prefecture. Notches were made toward the tip of the piece in order to allow each blow to stack and nestle on top of one another. They can be combined, according to the user’s imagination. One can challenge original formations or make their own toy or sculpture.
