Shelving System N01 is a minimal shelf system created by Mexico City-based designer José Bermúdez. The studio was commissioned to design a custom bookshelf with different materials such as coated steel and wood as the main presence. In this case we use tzalam wood to give contrast and warmth to the space. In addition, a 3.4 mm steel support in the upper part of the wood to receive the collection of our private client who have more than 150 books of architecture, design and art . The legs are made of solid steel and play an important role, since this house is a very old house, normal variations appeared in the floors and in the ceiling, so the levelers are adjustable at the time of installation in order to fit perfectly each irregular space. The floor tiles brought from different locations in Oaxaca and Mexico such as the concrete walls complement the tone of the bookcase very well
